As the world’s only hope, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself while singing my favourite song, “Yes, Jesus Loves Me.” That is what the bible📖📙 says, and I take that as a fact.
Those details are familiar to us, but how did he spend the remainder of his life? Who exactly is Jesus? Would you lie to listen to his tales? Very good! Give me a moment to explain who Jesus is.
A Special Birth and a Remarkable Cousin👼🏾
Keep in mind the date of Jesus’ birth. The wise men arrived, the shepherds appeared, and the angels sang. But there was another significant youngster born just before Jesus — John.
John the Baptist, a cousin of Jesus, was born just before the baby Jesus was born. An influential figure in Israel’s history, this small boy would go on to become rather famous. John the Baptist was a prophet who dipped individuals in water at their baptism to symbolize their turning from sin and into a new life in Christ.

It was clear that John was unique. Instead of wearing comfortable clothing,👔👖 he sported scratchy camel hair, and his diet consisted entirely of honey and insects. He spent time in God’s presence🙏🏾 while living in the bush, far from civilization.
” you all must cease despising God because His kingdom is approaching, ” God told John, a crucial message that John must communicate. “I am not Messiah, but he is coming. The people were amazed and wondered if John might be the Messiah. ” John responded. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit, but I will baptize you with water.

Jesus came to John to be baptized when He was about 30 years old. ” Behold, my son, whom I love very much, ” a voice from heaven cried as Jesus himself emerged from the water,🌊 and the Holy Spirit descended upon him like a dove. Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness,🏜️ alone with God, after His baptism, rather than immediately revealing Himself to be the Messiah. He spent all the time fasting and conversing with God.🙏🏾 At the conclusion of the forty days, Jesus was tempted by Satan with solutions that might ease His task. With the words, ” I live by the words that come from my Father, ” Jesus repelled all temptations, showing his closeness to God.😇😇
Collecting Disciples and Changing the World.🌏
The kingdom of God is here, “Jesus announced as He resumed His ministry after His time in the desert. The good news is that I have arrived to deliver it. He began to gather followers, common folk like a fisherman🐟 and a tax collector, who would follow Him, learn about the kingdom of God, and then preach it to the world. The potential for eternal life in God’s kingdom was the source of great anticipation for these followers.
The Sermon on the Mount🗻
From a hilltop one day, Jesus give what is now known as the Sermon on the Mount to a huge assembly of people.🫂 The upside- down aspect of God’s kingdom____ where the meek, the poor in heart, the mournful, and the peacemakers are blessed——– is something he preached about. Additionally, he preached radical love, which entails loving one’s enemies and refusing to take offence.

Rather than focusing on rule___ following, Jesus’ teachings sought to change people’s hearts. After establishing a relationship with God, Jesus declared, ” I came to make you a new person.” This transformation takes place on a deep, personal level.
