The kingdom of God is here, “Jesus announced as He resumed His ministry after His time in the desert. The good news is that I have arrived to deliver it. He began to gather followers, common folk like a fisherman๐ and a tax collector, who would follow Him, learn about the kingdom of God, and then preach it to the world. The potential for eternal life in God’s kingdom was the source of great anticipation for these followers.
The Sermon on the Mount๐ป
From a hilltop one day, Jesus give what is now known as the Sermon on the Mount to a huge assembly of people.๐ซ The upside- down aspect of God’s kingdom____ where the meek, the poor in heart, the mournful, and the peacemakers are blessed——– is something he preached about.
